I have windows 7 64 bit, and SDL manager works without any issues, so your problem is not to do with windows 7 specifically.

make sure that you have run this executable on your windows 7 machine:

http://www.motec.com.au/filedownload.ph ... docid=3576

Also, ensure that you have the same version on both laptops.

Finally, I recommend tha tyou try to open the config by starting up dash manager, and using the File/Open option in the software rathern than double clicking on the config.

Jamie

are you installing the program as administrator. You need to do this with windows7

to do this, download the install file to somewhere you have access to. then right click on the setup.exe file, and tell it to run as adminstrator.

that should fix the problem...

Im sorry, I didnt understand the problem before...

Now I understand the issue, I have downloaded your file..

If you open your U16 file with a hex editor, you will find that although it is exactly the correct size, it contains nothing but zero's thoughout the whole file..

where did you get the file from?? you will need to re-retrieve the file.

regards
