UTC + M400 + Win7 + Thinkpad T61

Hello!

I've a Motec M400 ECU with motec UTC. I reinstall the Windows 7 in my Thinkpad T61. Install the latest Motec ECU manager, then plug UTC to my laptop, the driver is installed fine. Connect UTC to M400, then run Motec ECU manager. Recognize the Ecu download the latest options. Next I want to testing the outputs, the connection is broken with the ECU, but reconnect immediately, 1s later the link broken then reconnect automaticly. This runs about 5-6 times, then the ECU manager is not reconnect, show ECU not connected. Howewer restart the Ecu manager, this shows ECU not connected. My friend has a same laptop and this hase a same problem. Another laptop is communicated with M400 very well.

Anybody has an idea whats the problem with Thinkpad T61?

Have you tried another UTC?

Have you tried more than one USB port?

Are you using windows 7 64 bit?

If so, have you installed these drivers?
