Injector Fault ! Peak Error !

Postby The Dr on Thu Jun 14, 2012 10:43 pm

Hello I have an M48 with ignition expander on a Holden V8 with morrison 8 throttle body assembly and 8 coils. I have Rochester 17104989 2.2ohm injectors (IJCU setting at !4!) can i change this to a smaller No say 3.5 to remove the !Peak Error! Fault without any issues. Also on engine cranking i get down to 10volts( I no the engine wont fire if i get below 10 volts due to Delta Batt Low) but when eng fires up its approx 13.5 volts is this enough?. Posibly a Battery(its 750 cranking amps) or Alternator issue?? any help would be great. cheers The Dr

It is not the alternator as that is not in-play while cranking.
