M84 inputs Diagnostics off

Postby Gaston on Sat Feb 18, 2012 6:19 am

Hi guys !

In newer firmwares releases

Would be a possibility to "turn off" not used inputs? to avoid Errors on diagnostics panel , with racing cars, I never connect anything like MAF, oil press and other sensors.

Cheersss !!

I would never leave fuel pressure, oil pressure and oil temp unconnected! Very much needed with racing engines.

Btw, sensor setup gives you possibility to turn off unconnected sensor false alarms.
See: Adjust -> Sensor Setup -> Input Setup... -> Warn Lo / Warn Hi settings.

For unused inputs, set Diag Lo and Diag Hi beyond the normal input range, for a 0v-5v sensor set Diag Lo to -.1v and Diag Hi to 5.1v, then it will never go into fault.
