GPS-L10 / OUTPUT Format

Postby Jakob on Fri Jan 06, 2012 6:24 am

Hello,

I need a 10-Hz-GPS for my University-Project.

I'm wondering what Format the output of the GPS-L10 is. Is it NMEA or something proprietary?

Thanks!

OK ... found the information in the data sheet :)

RMC, GGA (MoTeC default)

Is it possible to change this?

What's the rs232 data format for the GPS-L10?

x-data bits, parity, stop bit?

The GPS-L10 RS232 output format is a standard NMEA output format.

RMC
GGA

The baude rate is 38400

you shouldnt need to worry about the other settings, but it is
8 data bits
1 stop bit
No parity
No flow control
