Get rid of the minimum 1 second delay before the over boost cut level figure is respected? I have had several people who know a lot more than I comment on how it seems bizarre to allow a full second of potentially damaging over boost before a cut is made.

hi Guys !,

Would be very usefull posibility to switch different speeds limits, Dakar race requires 4 different speed limits zones. Switching program is not enough and not so "proffesional" way to do this.

I would like an aux volt table to set the variable speed limiter !

Cheers !

Gaston-

You could use the RPM Limit table with 2 axis- gear, and a rotary switch, different max RPM in each switch position to limit speed to whatever you want regardless of what gear it is, but the driver would have to make sure they move the switch to the 'off' position once thru the speed zone. Not as simple as speed based limiting but doable now.

Thanks again for all of your suggestions in this thread.

Our new ECU Manager (for use with the opcoming M1 ECU's) has benifited from your suggestions, and many of your requests you will see there.

i suspect that you will see the first public version of M1 Tune towards the end of February 2012, so you will then be able to see how we have implemented these suggestions.

regards,

Jamie

Is there a chance of these ideas being put into the hundred series ECU Manager?

Quoting from the first post in this thread:

"As Jamie A from Motec mentioned they are in the process of considering updates for the ECU manager software."

I thought these were UPDATE suggestions for the existing *00 series software, not features for the forthcoming M series software?

Although this thread was in the Mx00 section.....I think many of us had hoped some of the suggestions would be made available for these ecu's, as it is this specific range people are talking about

Perhaps retrospective upgrades are too much to ask ?

Sorry about the confusion, we dont have an M1 section of the forum yet.

At present our pritority is to get the M1 ECU manager software ("Tune") finished, and take into account the things that you guys dont like about our existing software.

but some good news for M800 users, we intend to continue with this range of ECU's along side M1 ECU's, so ECU Manager will also continue.

Thanks..

So we can expect some of these suggestions to be implemented soon ?

Especially nice easy ones like ghost trace and simple block changes via keys ? lol
