Help on Timer setup

Postby whrdnsx on Sun Dec 04, 2011 9:37 pm

I'm wondering if its possible to have a timer set on a certain Throttle positon or Map position to run a PWM on an Aux table.
The Help says it has to be set to a status channel/switch. any way around this.
Thanks

Use an aux, ign or inj output to trip Dig1-4 or an AT switch (loop a wire from aux/inj/ign to the Dig/switch) by pulling it to 0v.

The aux/ign/inj table is your table with selectable axis, your digital or switched input is set to Monitor, then set the timer to be started when that dig/switch is active. Be sure your polarities and logic are correct. Then this timer output can be used on almost any available axis.

If you can give me a little bit more detail about what you want to do I may be able to give you some other ideas. There is a full throttle timer as well which can realistically be set at any throttle position.

The devil is in the detail, how do you want it to start/stop/reset?

Ain't that the truth. Some crazy convoluted timer functions can be implemented.
