TCMUX or 4 independent inputs question

Is there any disadvantage in using a TCMUX to feed 4 independent wheel speed signals from four Hall effect wheel speed sensors into one input of my M800 or E816 as opposed to using 4 separate digital inputs? Accuracy / resolution compromised in any way? Thanks.
