Finally got the M800 connected after laying around for a few years now.

First got this message which makes sense:




But this one I am not sure about:



Ecu version V50.xx vs V3.53 ????
Still OK to continue?

The software in your ECU is ancient and still DOS-based. It is giving you strange downgrade errors because it may not be able to make that much of a jump in software versions.

Try to go to version 2.33 first, and then upgrade to 3.53. If you cannot upgrade straight to 2.33, try upgrading to 1.6 first.
