Coiled Cord for MDD Steering Wheel with 2-Additional Wires

Postby proformance on Sat Oct 08, 2011 7:16 am

I posted this in another section, but received no comments after 2-days. So, I'll try here, Thanks........

I need to install a MDD on a steering wheel and do not have the option of running the cable through the steer shaft. With the steering wheel having 1 1/2 -turns lock to lock, I need a coiled cord (retractable cord) to terminate to the MDD. In addition, I will mount a non-related single pole switch requiring two additional wires.

Has anyone come up with a coiled cord that contains 6-conductors with 1ea twisted pair. Knowing the CAN requires a twisted pair, I am having difficulties located a cable that will work.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks..............

We have a new cable which should do the job for you.

61222 Curly cord, Terminated.

It is a new product, just released, most dealers wont yet know about it.
