M4 Mitsubishi 4G93 Trigger Issue

Postby Akukeng on Sun Aug 14, 2011 7:59 am

Hi All,

Need some explanation on the trigger setup of Mitsu 4G93 REF/SYNC..
I've tried to use the given rEF=162 (Mitsu Oprtical 4-slot) but no spark produce..
By using the old REF/SYNC simulator and manual test ive got the criP of 540

Below is my current setup:
rFSn = 1
SYSn = 1
rEF = 4
crT = 0
TOr = 20
criP = 540
ign = 1
COIL = 2

The car is able to start but up to 500 RPM only and some of misfire happened..
Can anybody advise me on the corect setup of this car?

TQ

ok,

According to the mitsu trigger drawing, there is a note stated that rEF=162 will not work with revision A motec board....

FYI, my motec serial no is 48++..or is there any firmware update need to be done on the motec itself.....

What errors do you get when it misfires? Does the engine have the crank trigger on the crank or all in the distributor? The can be a couple of different variations of these engines.
