ADL Config Problem

Postby Olivert on Fri Jul 29, 2011 6:50 am

Hi,

I have an ADL, which I have just calibrated for acceleration and damper position. All look correct when I monitor the channels through the Dash Manager (3.2). Unfortunately both Interpreter and I2 won't inherit this new config from the dash and keep displaying the results using the calibration values I had in before. How do I encourage them to change calibration?

Thanks,

Oliver

You must have transmitted the configuration to the dash for Monitor Channels to work correctly.

Are you sure you're looking at data in I2 that you logged/downloaded since you changed the calibration?

Is it possible that you have some math channels in I2 that are overriding the logged channels?

Hi,

the data has definitely been downloaded since the calibration was changed and I don't have any maths channels. I've also tried changing the name of the file, but no joy.

Oliver,

There is no current, known issue of this type with the ADL.

First, I would recommend that you upgrade the dash firmware using Dash Manager 3.20U so that it as up to date as the software you're using. Then, I would download and install the most current version of i2 Pro (1.18.0017) or i2 Standard (1.18.0018) depending on which you are using to view data. Finally, double check that you do not have any offsets or scaling factors set in i2 and you are viewing the channel in the proper units.

If none of these resolve this issue, then please post a dash config and log file which were created or save after going through the above steps.
