What fuel pressure sender

Postby Mr ganbatte on Thu Jul 28, 2011 4:02 pm

Hi guys,

I am running an intank 280l/hr pump and a Bosch 044 external on a surge tank.
This is on an RB26 motor, 800 cc injectors and a M800 ecu
Which is the correct fuel pressure sender to get for my set up.
Not sure on the fuel rail pressure at present .
Would the Motec 100 psi honeywell sensor do the job and what burst pressure is it rated at.

Recommendations appreciated

Cheers

The 100psi sensor will be fine, their burst pressure is something like 10x.

If you are going to have a comp table for fuel pressure target error correction I would suggest using an absolute sensor to match the 'zero' of your MAP sensor, if just monitoring pressure gauge or sealed gauge would be fine.
