Boost control issues - help!

Postby suprafan on Tue May 24, 2011 4:37 am

I am having issues with the boost controller for my M800. When I set the boost to be 20 psi (lower duty cycle) the engine runs very high boost, but when I set the boost to be 35psi (~90% duty) the boost is much lower.

Is there a software setting that I can adjust to fix this or would you recommend switching the ports on my 3 port boost control solenoid?

Suprafan,

Can you achieve 35 psi on the low boost setting?

If you do, you probably have a inverted solenoid polarity. In that case, you should go to the Auxiliary function that control your solenoid Under Parameters, change polarity 0 to 1 or the other way around.

Could you share a datalog file, it will be a lot more easier to find exactly what is the problem.

Felipe,
That was exactly the answer I was hoping to get, I was just unsure of where the function was located in the software to adjust this parameter.

Thank you very much.
