Extended affordable Basic logging

Postby Autosport on Mon Jan 31, 2011 3:03 pm

Is there anything coming in the future that would bring an affordable extension to the 512k logging memory in the ECU where a Dash is not required?

ie: for logging a complete Track day for the amateur racer, or for logging a days riding on a Jetski

Being able to log for longer then 10 or 20 minutes, either to an external Hardware or log wirelessly to our smart phones through some hardware and and a smart phone application? (the EDL is not really a viable option for the amateur track day enthusiast or Jetskier).

Basically something that is just an expansion of the 512k logging memory in the ECU.

Thanks
Damian.

At present, we dont have a very low cost solution, the closest thing I can suggest is that we are investigating the possiblituy of building a lower cost dash, aimed at the club level racing market.

I know its not the ideal solution, but until something specific is available, does anybody know if this can be adapted for use with an M400?
