Hi-LO Injection M800-Running E85

Postby gturbo18T on Mon Apr 11, 2011 5:12 pm

Im thinking of running E85 fuel ...As you would know this would require a lot more fuel flow

The setup at the moment is Lo-Hi

280cc-300cc = Primary injectors x 4

1000cc=Secondary injectors x 4

The balance table turns them off and on as you would know

There are other settings to set the turn on and off points for primary and secondary ..

im hoping these settings will allow me to leave the primary injectors on and phase in the
secondary injectors to take advantage of the extra fuel flow ,so all 8 injectors are
working when at high boost running e85 fuel .

Is this possible or are there limitations to Hi-lo Setups ..?

The balance table sets the percentage (by volume) that comes from the primary injectors, if you want to phase the secondaries in over a range of RPM just belnd the table....e.g over a range of RPM you can go from 100% (all primary) to say, 50% half the fuel from both injecotrs.

The other settings are to help with the fact that an injecotr cannot "phase in" from 0, there is dead time to think of. For example, most people want to bring the secondary injecotrs in like 0%, 1%, 2%, 3% etc but an injector may not give any fuel until 3-4% and then be a little unstable. The extra settings are to make sure you are not trying to provide a small amount fo fuel from the secondaries that it cannot physically deliver at such small duty cycles.
