STI7 Idle control V35

Postby stevieturbo on Fri Jan 07, 2011 12:43 am

Ive just got hold of an old car with an M800 pnp

When updating from V23 to V35, I notice the idle parameters have changed/disappeared.

V23 has idle speed target and some PID settings.

V35 appears to have none.

How do I configure for a target idle speed, or is it best just to add a table ?

Would Engine temperature against duty cycle be sufficient to give some cold start control etc ? Or best to go full 3d with ET/RPM with duty cycle ?

All the idle control has changed in v35, there is much more flexibility now. The idle control function is under Adjust-Functions now and not set up in the actual Auxiliary Out Put used.

Also, the scaling of the PID is now different so the same numbers do not work in the newer software.
