Can you detail what you did to fix it, and any data that helps to wrap this up?

Well the dropping was fixed by the tuner but he tried to his best ability to get rid of the very slight hesitating ( now ) but its still there. Its somewhat frustrating
While tuning he went to extremes and made it worse then narrowed it down to the best he could come up with.
Seriously you guYs might say its the tuner but i believe he is experienced enough and really he has tried.
But for me i am disappointed that the MoTec is doing this.
My mate that runs an Autronic has absolutely no problems. His tuner said that it was an issue with the Motec and it wasnt able to react fast enough.
I really want to fix this or i might just give up and and sell my gear and get the Autronic. Such a shame after spending $1000's
Im too pedantic and if it aint perfect i just get rid of it.

You might post your ECU file.
Alternatively I might be interested in your ECU if you want to head to Autronic... I am assuming it is an M800?

Can you give us a little more information about exactly what is happening? And some logging would be good to. I would not worry about "the MoTeC not reacting fast enough", that simply isn't true. Need some details.

Well been at the tuner last Saturday again.
He tried his hardest to fix it.
Idle is a bit high 970 to 1040 it bounces. Seriously not to fussed about that but gee i would love to have it smoother.
The real issue is in neutral and 1st when releasing the clutch.
Neutral - tap or push down on the accelerator it wants to bog down, the revs dont go down but there is a split hesitating then the revs go up
First - same thing but have to rev and wait for the butterfly to open then let go of the clutch.
The tuner went one way and made it worse then went the other way and made it worse then homed in to the best point he could.
Its like the split second the butterfly is opened it doesnt have the correct fuel amount. When the butterfly is opened you can hear the rush of air going into the plenum ( remember this is a SC Rotrex installation )
Once the butterfly is open and driving its fantastic.
If i push very slowly on the accelerator it doesnt do it all.
You can ask the tuner for the log , i dont know how to do it

I'll talk to Lee about this next week, he is away in tassie for one of the targa rounds and i can't get a hold of him.

Where is the throttle body in relation to the supercharger? Where is the intercooler in relation to them both?

And going into my car
Cleared everything

This time around i added the hoses to the Rotrex on the engine while it was out.
Just cut to size when i line them up with the hard lines.

Clearing the water bottle and the BOV is just under the fuse box out of sight but accessable

Lee is a busy man

Air comes in from a std air box then gets diverted down to the SC through a 3.5 inch pipe into the SC then to a W/A intercooler and then into the Throttle body.

This is the circuit board i designed.
Its the factory 122 pin connector but i also have the middle plug.
That way all the MoTec senders have its own cable run.
Also i have may other spares there for any onther things i might need in the future.
Makes connection to the MoTec clean with no loose wires all over the place.

1Image
XLR connectores. Left is for the MoTec 800 CAN cable while the right one is for headphones for the knock sensors to monitor each cylinder

MY CUSTOM MoTec 800 box in the making

Used the top of a Lexus ECU for a factory ECU look. Once finished ill add the Toyota sticker
All the wiring will be made inside the box.
From the ouside all there will be is the harness plugs. The centre one which is not used in the Beams is there to add all the other sensors for the MoTec 800 and will be bundled with the engine loom

Finally finished my engine loom :)
All the MoTec sensor wires are intergrated in the loom.
Had to rearrange the the positive wire to the alternator to the Celica position.
Also had to extend wires to clear the A/W intercooler.
Also as you can see i have 3 engine loom ECU plugs . The third one contains most of the MoTec sender wires.
A very good mate , member , here supplied me genuine loom tape which is awsome , none of that sticky residue :)
Ive checked and rechecked it.
Now its off to the MoTec specialist to recheck again and then finally on the engine :)
