Does anyone have any experience running these coils with M800 series ECU's?

Toby,

I'd be interested to hear any info on these as I was planning on using them on my BMW S14 (E30M3), running M800.

Events have overtaken me! There are no connector plugs currently available here from Bosch for this coil for at least 3 weeks. I will be using std Jap bike stick coils.

I know Swindon Race engines (UK) have recently fitted another S14 with these coils, you may want to give them a call.

What engine are you fitting them to. My plan B was VFR800VTEC Coils.

The Bosch coils were going on a turbo GSX1400 but as I said, I am now going to use std Jap stick coils from any of the modern Jap 1000cc bikes (non Cdi).

That's all you need. I've made 550hp at 40psi of boost on GSXR1300's bored out to 1600 using the stock coils.

Hello

Have used the coils and they work very well. The coil are not expensive and since the transistor is integrated in the coils it give very few wiers/easy wiering.

The connectors are:

Bosch: part nr D 261 205 367 and can be bought at www.BSA-motorsport.de

The connector is made of Sumitomo. The part nr is: 6189-0779.
