Gm Fuel Composition

Postby rx_treme on Tue Nov 16, 2010 3:57 pm

Hey guys,
Anyone have any tricks to be able to use a GM flex fuel sensor on the new 84? if i'm not mistaken they're normally used on the Dig inputs but it seems all four are locked for wheel speeds.
Ideas?

Thanks!

How about something like this that converts the digital output from the flex sensor to an analog 0-5v out?

That's pretty cool but after looking at how many of the AV inputs are locked I would only be able to do Alcohol Content or Exhaust Map but not both... wow.

Hi All,
The Digital Inputs are not locked to wheel speeds, they can be used for most of the functions the same as the M800. The SLM is the only thing "configurable" with reguards the CAN bus, you can still have LTCs, PLMs, ADL/SDL (all variants), MDD, PDM and VCS. Unfortunately no E888/816.
