Not avaiable unused IGN/INJ outputs

Hi,

im using a M600 on my 5 cylinder Audi,so i have got 1 IGN and 1 INJ output that is not used.
Is there a way to use them,or this is a marketing strategy to move people to the M800 (which, if im correct, has this feature)?
Do you plan to make these unused outputs free to use on the M600?

When you put number of Cylinders at 5 and number of ignition coils at 5. If there are any available inj/ign outputs (inj6 on M600, in 6,7 and 8 on m800/ ign 6 on M600 and ign 6, and 8 on m800) then you can use them for any other aux output at that time (1-9,101 - 133).

What makes you think you can not? Also what version of the software are you using?

Only the M800 can use spare IGN/INJ Outputs as other outputs

The un-used ignition and injector outputs can only be configured as auxiliary outputs on M800 and M880. The M400 and M600 do not have this feature. Have you used all 8 auxiliary outputs?

Yes,i just run out of Aux outputs.However i could free up one which is used to trigger the second fuel pump,with a simple boost switch,i just hate the idea...

Fuel pump2
Shift light
Tacho
Boost control
Driver Warning
Fuel pump1
Nitrous

Would be nice to have that feature to free them up

You could free up one of those outputs by using a MoTeC Shift Light Module. It runs on CAN so doesn't need an output.

He could use the SLM for driver warning also?

Yes you can use the SLM for the driver warning too but the output still has to be configured so it will not free up that output.
