Hi Tommy / Scott

My Project is a boosted one, have tried three different Bosch coil's

P100-T - Great coil but too short does not reach top of plug
PS - Small and compact but low power would be difficult to mount without major mods to cam cover
P50 - Perfect Fit, but need to seal around plug hole in cam cover

Will almost certainly go with P50, with some sort of rubber grommet. will make support rail which will attach to the two centre studs of the the cam cover at each end.

Cheers - Jay

Jay,
if it is a perfect fit than stay with it. This is what I did.
As for the seal I had the same issue. Mc Master has grommets that will do the job. They are not expensive.
Just get the right size.

Yes and no. P100-T is a powerful coil and can do wonders if used right. But it is an oem model from Ford engine, check out the part number 0 221 604 006  :o :)

Hey guys, I'm following this thread. I'm doing up a 308QV myself. It's using two sets of Hyabusa throttle bodies and will be using Denso COP's. It will be using an M800, but still a bit far off is the building of maps for the beastie.

Look nice !

It would be interesting to see if the induction length would benefit from a longer trumpet length?

Not looking for the last nth of HP / torque, just available space and clearance. Theis will be installed in a 1500 lb Lancia Stratos Replica for a personal track day car and not in any sort of competition. The power to weight ratio of a stocker is about the limits of my novice abilities onthe track. This motor should be about 20% more and revability and response a bit quicker. The runner lengths under the tb's are 2"". THe velocity stacks (inthe air cleaner housing) are about 1.25", they are the stock Hyabusa trumpets.
