M800 Outputs

Postby F6R on Mon Jun 14, 2010 1:44 am

Have an M800 installation that is controlling many things in the vehicle, in lieu of the stock system, and have run out of outputs to get the job done.

Is there an easy way to get more outputs, or is the best option to go for the likes of an ignition expander (running 4 ignition channels) to free up some?

M800, 2x PDM15's, and an 816 expander here all full :)

I have a few Aux outs left on my PCS Trans controller then I'm in trouble!

Why 2x PDM15s when you could do a 30 or 32?

Sorry Daniel I wasn't being a smartarse, with the 2 x 15's I get
Outputs
•16 x 20 A outputs—20 A continuous, 115 A transient (typical)
•14 x 8 A outputs—8 A continuous, 60 A transient (typical)

whereas the PDM 30 has
Outputs
•8 x 20 A outputs—20 A continuous, 115 A transient (typical)
•22 x 8 A outputs—8 A continuous, 60 A transient (typical)
