M600 on Supra

Postby EVO7PWR on Sun Jun 06, 2010 8:59 am

Hi,

We've installed a Motec M600 as piggy back on a 1995 Toyota Supra (single turbo) with automatic transmission, leaving the stock ecu to manage the auto transmission but we have problems with the gears since stock ecu got into safe mode.

Is there any known problem with M600 and automatic transmissions?

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks in advnace

If the factory ECU has gone into limp mode it is not really a problem with the M600, you are going to need to work out what the factory ECU needs to stay happy which can be a little tricky. Have you been to a Toyota dealer to see if they can tell you what fault codes are showing on the factory ECU?

How have you piggy-backed the ECU? Have you spliced all the sensor inputs or have you cut them off completely?
