E888 Dig Inputs -> M800

Is it possible to use the expander digital inputs with an M800? They do not show up under the channel list and if you assign them to a user channel the value is sporadic. I am trying to use it as a simple switch and I believe the problem may be that they are normally used as a frequency and the diagnostic channels don't come across?

Hi Ben,

Yes that is correct, the expander dig inputs are frequency so cannot be used as general switch inputs.
The pin statuses are actually sent but are not read by the m800.

You can use a spare expander AV with a pullup resistor to act as a switch input if you need.
