M800 OEM WIDEBAND SET UP

Postby xpro on Tue Apr 06, 2010 2:58 am

Hi all, im not getting many responses here for all my questions but i`ll try again lol

I just purchased Motec lsu 4.0 wideband kit and OEM to Lambda connector for my evo 8 Oem ecu.
Im trying to set it up for cloosed loop control, general tuning and to montor my AFR`s.
Im slighlt unsure on which way to set it up properly, im confused betwen LA1 or LA2 inputs and also the lambda heater parameters, im not sure wheater i need to link the pins for lambda heater?
Im using the LA2 input and the LA1 channel assigment.
The problem i have the AFR readings seem to be incorrect, im getting values of around 1.00, lean spikes on throttle lift, but on WOT in high load areas the afr goes to 0.95 max, which is incorrect as i have my car tuned for 0.75lambda

Can somebody help me out here please?

It should all be set up on La2, assuming you are using the Lambda connector on the board. The default link setup should work ok so you would need to take a close look at the links to see which ones have been changed.
