My Antilag not working right?? Evo 8

Postby xpro on Sat Mar 20, 2010 7:50 am

Can some help me out here please?
I have all the settings for Antilag, both ORB maps set up cut & retard, fuel enrichment/enleanment map is left blank as i dont have any extra air coming in. All i get is one loud bang on liftover . When im driving ORB active, gearchange and nothing happens. Only when revs drop right down, i get one bang and thats it.
I remember my old evo 9 was poping like crazy

Can some tell me what im doing wrong here?
Thanks

Hi Phil, If you dont have any extra air then I would suggest that you only use the cut table as the retard will require extra air flow. You can jack the idel valve open but its not advised on lancers as they get full of dirt and stick.

If you jack the throttle open 10% and and use the idel limiting condition then it will work for you to an extent. To get real useful als you will need approx 30+% throttle jacking.

hi,

i also had problems with anti lag. my experience is, that als don't work without extra air.

i installed a valve that opens when throttle goes below 10%

if you send me your email-address i can send you a document how to setup antilag.
