Idle speed valve PWM wiring

Postby 20B on Sat Jan 23, 2010 11:01 am

I am wiring up my 2 wire PWM idle control valve, obviously one wire is an AUX output on the M800 ecu but I'm not sure whether to wire the 12V power to the A26 wire on the ecu (12V + ) or directly from the ignition power relay from the battery ? My guess is the ign relay but maybe the ecu can sink the power consumption from the valve directly from the ecu ? Any suggestions ?

Either method will work fine. Normally it would be powered by the ECU relay.
