350Z PLUG AND PLAY / PIGGYBACK

Postby JIM on Wed Nov 25, 2009 8:39 am

Has anyone done a piggy back or stand alone M800 in a road going Nissan 350z ?
If so are there any driveability issues?

Hi Jim,

We have done both the older VQ35DE and newer twin throttle VQ35HR both in piggy back.
1. VQ35DE
Fuel, Igition, VVT, DBW are run by Motec.

2. VQ35HR
Fuel and ignition are on Motec. DBW and VVT on stock ECU.

Both cars are turbocharged. No drivability issues apart from that the stock traction control is not working.

Regards
Alex
