I think the tech bulletin has both (feeler gauge and pushing to mechanical stop).

Since this is a continuation of the discussion I didn't start another thread. I have an M800 and a single LS2 throttle body. I have been setting the throttle position "zero" manually. After reading this thread I re-zeroed it at the stops for TP and TP2 inputs. I went to the translation table and changed the 0 TPD value. Regardless of how I changed it stayed at the stops. When I went into the setup for dbw to verify the control settings the throttle started cycling between fully open and fully closed. When I set the zero manually with a reasonable distance from the stops everything behaved correctly. What am I missing or is this a proceedure specific to DBW4 ?
