I've just bought some to put in my car.

If Motec haven't tested them I was going to send the injectors to them.

Let me know if they have been tested.

We haven't characterised these but coincedently I have had a couple of peoiple ask about them in the past week so we will probably get one to do. I don't really understand why this would have worked ok before with the in-correct current settings and also the operating conditions where you were getting missfire is not rerally consistant with in-correct current settings. Obviously knowing that you are using the correct setting for the injector would be helpful but I suspect that you could have a wiring issue and the change of current setting has acted like a "band-aid" to the real problem.

We'll its not an injector wiring problem. New wires, directly from ECU were pulled in to trigger injectors and power taken directly from battery.

Ive done everyting to eliminate the harness as problem and the problem was still there.

Out of frustration I tried changing the current setting, (Increased by 1 amp) and it all went away. THere were no open circuit warnings or peak warnings. When I increased the current by 1 more amp i got peak errors.

The car is running well and healthy again, makes 880Nm and 550Kw at about 5000ft altitude (1500m)

We have tested this injector now and can confirm the settings:
Current 3
Peak & Hold ratio 4
Battery compensation.
Code: Select all
   Fuel Pressure (bar)
Volts      3   4   5
10      970   1121   1210
11      875   1004   1091
12      878   906   955
13      826   846   885
14      773   785   817
15      745   731   755

Cheers for that Ross.

This may be a silly question, is there a reason why the compensations can only be entered in rounded to the nearest 20??

So 875 becomes 880..
