problem with uploading start file

Postby Abdul on Sat Sep 19, 2009 2:59 am

Hello guys,

I have a problem with uploading start file for 2jz to (M600). I am not that good in MoTec i am using version 3.4 and I bought this start file but I don't know why it couldn't be read.

Maybe if it because it a different version? how can I fix it?

I uploaded the file.

Thanks,

I haven't been working with motec products for very long, but I think you will find the problem with the ecu file is that there is no information in it. eg. number of cylinders, ign outputs and engine sensors.

I hope you didn't pay for that as a start file.

There is a 2jz ecu file on the motec forum.

Check out that thread the file will need tobe changed to suit your setup but it's alot closer than what I downloaded.

mabe send a message to driftshop.

There is something wrong with this file. It may be that something happened to it when it was being retrieved from an ECU possibly a comms error), the file is only 9Kb and it should be 72 Kb. I would not use this file.

I would also recommend that you use M800 V3.5 instead of V3.4.
