Error Sync RunT

Postby Wolf_Tm250 on Wed Mar 04, 2009 5:54 am

Hello All.

Today I had the first start up, after I replaced my M4 with a new M400, but I got this error ( many times, after I resetted errors, it came out again, maybe at idle ) I never had before...

What is it? Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Is this a Mag sensor?

It means that noise levels are very close to your set trigger levels.
Try increase your trigger level slightly at the RPM where this happens.

Don't know... sorry...
The car is a Toyota Celica GT-four, 3SGTE engine, and I know the TDC sensor is connected to the intake cam, behind the distributor...

Sorry again... how could I do it ?

Thanks a lot, regards

I know this is an old thread and the problem could have been solved. I have an MR2 with 3SGTE. If you are using the OEM distributor and the ref/sync reside inside the distributor, then yes, it's a magnetic sensor. Both the ref and sync is on the falling edge.
