Postby fetzi on Tue Aug 25, 2009 4:44 am

hello,

if the engine temperature, exhaust temperature etc. are very high (after a race) i cannot start the engine.
i use a m800. is there any function or adjustement to solve this problem?

battery voltage goes down if i start to 9.6-10 Volts.

thank you.

Looks like you have a high compression engine?
First thing that comes to mind is a bigger battery, since voltage is too low for good starting performance.
You could try slightly less ignition timing during cranking. It might help.
Also make sure that you fuel compensation for cranking is set up correctly too.
