Updating M800 ECU

Hi guys.

I have recently started riding a 08 Yamaha R1 with M800 ECU and ADL, when I try and connect to the ECU I am asked if I would like to update it.

If I do so, will all settings remain the same, or will they return to some kind of default setting?

You should be getting a message telling you what version of software is installed in the ECU, can you tell me what version it is.
In most cases the upgrade is straightforward but I would always recommend that you install the old version in to your PC and get a bacu up copy of the configuration file. The configuration file is up-grasded at the same time as the ECU but it is always a good idea to have a back up copy just in case something goes wrong during the upgrade.

The firmware version is V2.33K

I can't see a software version that matches, or does V2.30 work?
