Distance/time

Postby Monstrobolaxa on Thu Jun 04, 2009 8:38 am

Well...changing the X-axis to distance gives me a N/A!
Corrected speed is also N/A!
What to do?

You need to change the settings in Tools|Corrected Speed and Distance to suit your log file so the 'Corrected Distance' channel reads something. This is the distance channel used as the lap distance on the graph.

By default the Corrected Distance is calculated from Corrected Speed, and Corrected Speed comes from one of a common speed channel listed in the corrected speed setup, so usually you will have a distance channel, but not always.

Well I've been in the corr.speed toolbox and put in for it to "Use the first available from:" and put in ground speed and ground speed left, as these are the only speed channels available.

Ground speed and ground speed left are showing properlly on the graph...but Corr.Speed is shown as N/A.

Corr.Speed is enabled...what now?

Another quick question...the "Fuel Used Ecu", in which unit is it showing? kg or l?
And how accurate is it? It goes directly to the engine mapping so I'd thing it should be close enough.

Took a bit of tweaking but I got my fuel used to +- .5 litre on a 115L tank.

What tweaking? :D
I usually don't use litres as a unit as it is temperature dependent. I usually use kg.

Just had to adjust the "fuel used cal" a little to 0 in on the actual fuel used, once done it's perfect :)

Told the SDL to remind me when xx fuel is left and again at x fuel so no need for a "gauge" .

Are your ground speed channels generated by the ECU?
If they are They'll be unitless.
You'll need to use the channel mappings section in tools to give the channels a KMH unit.
