Re: m2r fuel pump trigger not working

Beef,
Under the parameters menu, make sure you have an "OFF Delay" Value set so that when you turn on the ignition it will turn the output on for that number of seconds, Also when the engine is stopped it will keep the ouput going for that number of seconds.

Cheers

thanks i found that section, and after seting it up, i also double checked my ignition feed wire for the relay that triggers the m2r  found i had wired it to a ignition wire that turns off when cranking, hence the whole lot turning off
Its all good now and it even fired up but now ive got a tone off fuel pooring out the exhaust and its flooded and stalled, now i gotta figure out how to do a trim setup for my combo, i have 4x1600 blue tops, and motec cdi with merc coils and 3bar map sensor and the usual bosch/delco coolant and air temp sensors, i don't have a wideband at the mo, and would like to get one in the future but for now i need it just running enough so i can warm it all up, bleed the cooling system and flush out the run in oil, but the unit doesn't like to run on the factory setup for no
Im sooo lost for now :?

Ok i think im a little bit closer, found the injector settings were not done, i put the scaling to 12, current to 3, and compensation to 6, crip to 5 although i haev read to put it a zero but cannot confirm that, and i dont know what dwell settings i should have with mercury coils on cdi setup ?
did i get it any closer

next question, when selecting settings in the m2r do i enter number 2 for wide band in sensor setup section, or do i have to enter -1 and do the whole calibration thing in calibration tables :?:
i have bosch lsm11 sensor installed but not sure if i need to select number 2 or user defined -1 :?:

You just need to select "2" MoTeC Wideband Sensor.

next question, im tring to get my 4x indy blues to not log errors, any help, or anyone who can set my dead time settings, as this is what i think my problem is :?:

This is a copy from another internet forum ive been asking for help:
Mr echo again:lol:
got no cas ref and sync errors now, sorted that drama, and ive put the injector settings back to number 12 for injector scaling
6.0 on inject current
6 on inject battery comp

I now get a peak injector error that comes and goes, it isnt on all injects as im only idling the unit, so secondaries aint coming in
So the primaries log a error occasionally, and its funny as it can be injector 1 then later it goes to injector 2 on the primary, and sometimes its both:dunno:

WHAT is it that i need to do to correct this problem, is it sending away my injectors for bench testing and shit, i dunno someone got any tips on this one, as its about teh only drama i have left at the moment :)
ok anyone know if the m2r can have a "two step" drag launch control feature.
the ignition cut timing retard feature similar the the microtech  units control tha most of the rotary drag racers use to build boost of the line and control launch revs

ok next question, im planning to run methanol soon, can my m2r drive 10 bosch indy injectors or is it a bit out of that m2r platform , should i be looking at something else.
Its only a drag car so drive ability isnt what im after ;)
