When will the Motec VCS be released?

Our standard kit includes the recording unit, 1 camera and microphone, 4GiG Memory Card, micro usb cable and a loom to connect the camera and microphone to the unit. The kits should be available in July/August through our dealer network. The camera uses a micro-usb cable to download the video to a laptop so the memory card does not need to be removed from the unit.

yes, 4 Gig through USB. It can take a little time when full, but is significantly more reliable than having to remove the flash cards. Constant insertion and removal of flash cards eventually cause faulures of the card sockets. Owners of some other camers systems are finding this out!

Hi Martin,

Final incar testing is being completed this week. So if the testing goes well then it should be ready to release soon. We will let you know as soon as they are ready to be shipped.
