Elasped time for distance travelled

Postby Brad on Fri Apr 24, 2009 10:50 pm

Is it possible for me to use the GPS input into my dash to show how long its taken for me to run a qtr mile and display it on the dash?I guess we have MPH but does the dash have the capability to do the maths to create the distance travelled to stop an on board timer?

Hi Brad,

I haven't tried this here but in theory I think it is possible only in an ADL or ADL2 as a SDL can't do channel maths. You would have to integrate GPS speed as a new channel that would be called "distance". You could then create a timer to start and stop relative to distance.
