Syn/Ref for Dual Cam VVT

Postby rahulktd01 on Mon May 25, 2026 11:40 pm

Hello,

This is a continuation of my previous post on the Motec Forum.
I am installing Motec M142 with GPR DI package on a dual cam VVT TGDI engine. I am able to lock the pattern by reducing the debounce to 4 µs. How to achieve a cycle lock for the Cam In and Out pattern for our engine. The signal and package file are attached.

Hi,

I have made changes to the attached file, as well as upgrading it to the latest release of the Firmware.

You had the incorrect Reference Mode selected, I have changed this to the Bosch 140 40 Reference Mode as this should be the correct mode for your engine. I am not able to validate this change based on what you have provided as the M1 didn't calculate the crank angles in the Input Capture.

Your Dealer should be assisting you with this issue as well.
