MoTeC T2 network protocols

Is there documentation available for T2 network protocols. In the input stream data source, I see two options in the drop down menu for protocol, MoTeC T2 and Passthrough. I have a simulation software running on remote server that generates a few channels that I would like to visualize in real-time in MoTeC i2. I cannot find documentation on how to write my own utility to use this protocol to send data to MoTeC T2, and then over to MoTeC i2. I was not sure if this is strictly meant for MoTeC hardware to stream data, and these protocols are proprietary and hidden. Any suggestion or guidance will be useful.
