3 force Sensor Setup

Postby EVO2 on Thu Jan 22, 2026 10:23 am

Id like to use a 3force sensor to data log yaw rate and G on my M150 (RDS Geartronics package).

Is it possible to use one direct to an M150 and transmit the data via CAN? As M1 tune seems to require a translation from volts?

If so, how would i go about configuring?

Many Thanks

Yes it's possible. Configure the CAN address of the 3Force sensor to match the ECU CAN Receive Base Address. The help for ECU CAN Receive Message Type describes how to convert from the CAN value to voltage to be used for translation tables on sensors.

Configure the Vehicle Acceleration channels to use CAN X Offset Y to match what the sensor sends. Either choose the Calibration of CAN.2DP.1.0 (so CAN data is 1 bit equals 0.01g), or use the manual calibration and convert the "virtual voltage" values to accelerations.
