Did you ever try replacing the throttle body?

No. I now believe that the ECU may have gotten wet during washing the car. I have created a RMA # and will be shipping the ECU back to Motec USA for inspection and repair.

Thanks

Just an update on my ECU.

I sent it to Motec USA for diagnosis and possible repair.

It appears that the firmware was corrupt, as well as the package that was loaded and the logger.

All were reloaded and the ECU was tested. It appears to be functioning normally now, and will be shipped back to me next week for testing on the vehicle. Hope all goes well.

I got the ECM back from MOTEC USA, installed it and it is still doing the same thing. I even tried testing it on another vehicle that is the same make and model as mine....it had the same issues. I spoke with John Reed a while back via email, and he said he hopes to one day have time to patch into my laptop and look over the ECU while its on the car. I really hope I get this issue resolved soon, as i have barely gotten to use the setup since i purchased it 5 years ago.

Finally got John Reed to do live remote into my laptop, and it was determined that the half bridge output had failed. John says he has never seen it happen before. So I returned the ECU back to Motec USA, where they shipped it back to Australia.

There it was determined that the ECU has suffered a severe damage and wasn't repairable. Several circuits were failing, AV1, AV2, AV7, AV8, AT1, AT2, DIG1, DIG2, and UDIG3, UDIG4. That also explains why several sensors werent reading correctly. Only option was a complete "board swap". It cost me a good amount of money to have this done.

The ECU is back home and working great once again.

Just thought I would leave a final message, that updated the outcome of my problem.
