KeyPad stickers

Postby crawlen on Sun Jun 02, 2019 4:24 pm

so getting ready to start installing my system. and to label the keypads. which leads me to my question.

the labels/stickers i need to get some custom made as using the standard motec ones and some from racegrade i still have a few that nothing is really suitable to my liking. and was hoping that someone might know of a place that can custom print me some. or even know what material is used on the standard motec ones that i might be able to go to a sign writer and get some made

Hello all,

I'm also in need of a custom label...

Has anyone come up with an alternative?

Hi,

The Keypad stickers are going through a revision at the moment, so there will be some new ones shortly. What sort of button are you looking for?

Hi Stephen,

I'm admittedly looking for a very one off label.

What I'd like to have is a white background label with the red extinguisher 'E' logo on it.

Thank you for your time!!

Normally the extinguisher systems in a racecar are a totally separate circuit, so that if the master power is off, they can still be triggered. Some series/organisers/organisations will not allow for the extinguisher circuits to be integrated into the main vehicle bus and not allow the vehicle to compete like that.

Hi Stephen,

I should have clarified that this is not for the keypad, but to keep continuity – why I’d like to find someone to make it.

Any news about it?

Would be good to have an "open source" template, so we can customize it and print localy.
Someone knows the brand / type of adhesive sheet motec uses to print the labels?
I know it is 3M, but couldn't finde the model.

Over here in Brazil I have seen some international T1 and T1R rally cars that have the firing supression system integrated in the harness, but it functions totally independent from any module and power source from the vehicle.
It basically passes inside the harness from point A to B.
