M1 Tune 1.5 feedback

Not used in anger but ...

Like the new look and features.
Really infuriating seemingly not being able to add to "favourites".
The touchscreen additions are exactly what I envisioned when I mentioned tablet compatibility some years ago. Just add the keypad and extend to other inputs (my car has a touchscreen and PC built in so vested interested).

Would love the option to select the start up a specified "workspace after connecting to the ECU, for instance Monitor -> Dash. Again, vested interest with the in car PC and 12" touch screen monitor.

In options you need to turn on Enable adjust group editing.

Then you will have the settings gear appear

At the bottom of this screen, you can change your favourites.

That is pretty neat, especially for those of on the Multi Throttle Body tuning method using the Inlet Manifold Pressure Estimate Main table I can never remember about!

I've only just started using Motec M1 tune (1.4) and so just getting to grips with resource assigning.
Loving the new look and pin out pictorial, very handy.
Is there a way to edit the I/O resources names that you pick from or add a note so I know what they actually are?
For example I'm wanting an I/O's for an Accusump pressure sensor and solenoid but can't find anything meaningful.
I have an excel spreadsheet listing what they are but didn't want to be complicating things if there was a better way.

Thanks in advance

M1 Tune doesn't have any name aliasing. If you are logging a channel and want the name to appear differently for analysis i2 allows you to alias a channel
