Toyota 86 How to reflect the entire fuel amount trim

Postby daiu23 on Wed Sep 25, 2024 12:02 am

Hello,

Could you please provide some information about the Toyota 86 2012 Engine Swap M1 Package?
I am using the Manual Transmission OE Injectors MY2012-2016 with the 2019 Update v7.

After starting the engine, it seems to be running rich overall. When I adjusted the AF around the idle, a value of around 80 was entered.
I tried using the Fuel Volume Trim Overall, and setting it to 50% improved the engine start and performance.

Which parameters should I adjust to reflect this change?

Hi,

With the engine not running, you can highlight the whole map and type 1.5*. This will apply a multiplication of 1.5 to the whole table, increasing the values in it by 50% to match the change done using the Fuel Trim value. Set the Fuel Trim back to 0 after doing this.

Make sure that you have all of the parameters setup correctly for the engine and fulling before getting into the tuning fully, use the Monitor | Complete Fuel Calculations worksheet to ensure that all of the calculations are within nominal values.
