M800 for evo vII

Hi Ross, yes the engine is back in the car and in break-in period right now. I noticed my O2 sensor was cutted the wires when took out the engine for repair, we think it's a bosch WB sensor but we are unsure. Anyways, I would like to know if this M800 has a build in WB processor or do I need separate WB module-sensor to connect the M800 with it and tune up from there!?

If you post a picture of your sensor and the connector I can identify it for you. YOu can connect a lambda sensor directly to an M800 and it will work provided that you have the Lambda option enabled.

I will take a pic of the 02 sensor when get a chance (soon) it's kinda tight down there. Judgig by the look of it, looks like it is a wide band sensor instead of a regular o r narrow band sensor, it does just look like my friend's LC-1 WB sensor, the only thing with this one is cutted the wires, so no mini module in the wire or connector. In other words, the Motec is runng with out o2 sensor feedback.


So, to ge this clear, the Motec has a "build in" preocessor for WIDE BAND sensor as well for Narrown Band or just narrow band sensor reading capabilitty and need a extenral module?

THe M800 can run both wideband and narrowband sensors. To run the wideband sensor it needs to have the Lambda Control option enabled. If this has not been enabled you can purchase the upgrade, the upgrade is done by password so you can do it with the ECU still in the car. To check if you have it connect ECU manager to the ECU and look at the list of options which appear below the serial number on the left hand side of the ECU Manager screen.
