What happens if you delete the contents of the "Display Name", or change it to something else like "Engine Revs per Min".

OK, next thought -- does your dbc file include "Engine Speed" twice - or do you have two CAN inputs each of which are supplying Engine Speed?

Of you want to post your DisplayCreator config we can take a look to see if there is something else. I'm just guessing, since I don't have a project with this issue to look at.

Looks like you need to select a channel. If that field is an output, then you should create another channel instead of using one that comes from the CAN bus.

i have another issue
i have motec m130 and PDM15 plus i have sequential gearbox.
my sequential is configured in the ecu m130 and working fine, my issue is in the display creator the gear is not changing
in the dash manager communication setup under CAN1 is there a specific setup in need to select from the list
so it can read the gearbox sequential from the ECU

IMAGE and video is attached.

Check what data is coming into the C127 using the Online | Monitor Channels function, if you are seeing the correct data there then follow the path through from their to DC. It should be that you have the Gear channel coming into the Dash from the M1, this is then transmitted directly to DC using the Display Setup window.

Check that the CAN Receive template lines up with the version that is being transmitted from the M1 as well. This is checked by going to ECU Transmit in All Calibrate, then looking at the Help.
