Future of custom CAN in M1

Postby 4ttl on Mon Jul 15, 2024 4:20 pm

I hope this is the rightplace for this.

I have been looking to integrate some CAN devices into my M1 but the custom CAN ( particularly receive) is pretty restrictive. Is there future development in this to allow more CAN data integration? In my case its a little off the beaten path and there isn't a relevant package to bundle all the data into the fixed receive blocks so I'm looking to a CAN bridge to translate OEM streams into M1 suitable data.

Thanks

Custom Firmware using M1 Build is the solution. If you aren't capable of doing the coding yourself, then here are experienced dealers (like myself) that can handle those projects.

Thanks David, but i think you have a similar request in your own post a little later than this one. More flexibility in the can streams is hardly difficult or counterproductive and it has the potential to make integration more complete.
