Mercedes M110 with M4 ecu. Assistance needed

Postby w460 on Sat May 11, 2024 4:36 am

Hi to respective All!
Maybe the only Mercedes M110 with M4 ecu in the world :)
Assistance needed:)
Natural aspiration
Straight 6 with the 153624 cylinders stock firing.
36-2 tooth crankshaft wheel with Toyota sensor on it.
NO Sync trigger wheel on camshaft
20-105kPa Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
6 individual red VAG spark coils.
Spark coils paired in groups 1: 1+6 , 2: 2+5, 3: 3+4. Also injectors are paired in the same order.

Is it possible to configure m4 for my config?
Can it be used without sync sensor?
How injectors and spark coils must be configured?
So many questions, I know)
But will appreciate any opinions and suggestions!

My best regards !

As I said in your other post, yes, it can be done, but the time and effort to be expended getting it working well (and still having a 25 year old ECU controlling it that requires a special laptop to communicate with it) will likely be greater than the cost of replacing the ECU with a modern on that can run the engine correctly.
